School Holiday Break
We wish the whole of the PHES family a well-deserved break.
For many years the weed eater has kept the playground looking neat and welcoming for the Pikkewyntjies who spend their play time there. There are a lot of paths where they ride the plastic motor bikes and the grass never gets the message that we don't want it on the bricks. Every time the lawn is mowed it has to be cut off them with a weed eater.
It's not an option to do the job by hand with a pair of clippers - it would take so long and the budget definitely won't stretch to a new weedeater.
So here I am with my cap in my hand asking if there is someone in Kleinmond or Betty's Bay who perhaps has a weed eater which is not being used. If there is, would you, could you be so very kind as to lend it to the school on a long-term basis or perhaps even consider giving it to the school.
We do know it's a big ask but maybe someone can help us without inconveniencing their own households.
Thank you for making time to read this appeal.
