School Holiday Break
We wish the whole of the PHES family a well-deserved break.
Louise Plaatjies has been at Pikkewyntjies / Penguinkidz for five years, and no one likes to think of a school day without her. If anything is lost, she will find it. If something is needed she will know where it is. If something to be used is found to be dirty she will scrub it clean. In between she attends to her duties with the utmose efficiency and without wasting a scrap.
Her day starts very early in her spotless kitchen with the preparation of breakfast for hungry Pikkewyntjies. At lunchtime, she serves a hot, nutritious and tasty meal. Everything she cooks is a winner with everyone. They do have favourites and she makes sure to repeat them but not so often that they lose their appeal.
When the school day ends, out come the bucket and mop, the broom and the dusters and Tannie Louise makes sure the school building is clean and fresh for the next day - and - when she finally locks up for the day, it's home - to cook supper for her household.
