School Holiday Break
We wish the whole of the PHES family a well-deserved break.
The School is an extra busy place at the moment with preparations for the end-of-year concert running in top gear.
1. Juffrou Zaan was very touched the other day to come into her classroom and find that girls in her class had written her a note with the help of Tannie Genevieve.
Zaan read it with wet eyes which were even wetter when she moved to hug the little girls and they all rushed over to hug her.
It’s really nice to be thanked and especially when one isn’t expecting it.
2. The theme recently was ‘Birds’ and the children collected items connected with the theme for a display to put together in the classroom. It was fun thinking of things to add to the display and there was quite a bit of discussion and organisation with Juffrou Zaan as chairman before everyone was happy with the result. Juffrou Zaan took a photo of the pleased faces.
(It’s a good thing they have their own hens or they might have struggled to get their hands on eggs.)
