Heldersig Hostel

Hoërskool  Bredasdorp / Bredasdorp High School has a hostel option for students at Heldersig Hostel that is a short walk away from the main school building.

Weekly Boarding Option

Heldersig Hostel can accommodate a total of 88 girls and boys who sleep in separate double-storey wings of the building. The residents of Heldersig Hostel are supervised by a superintendent and five teachers who all live on the premises.

Three wholesome meals planned by a dietician, are served in the hostel dining room. Residents can take a sandwich or fruit to school if they need an extra snack between meals. There are packed lunches available when there are sport and extramural excursions that take place outside Bredasdorp.

The balance between study and play is monitored with set study times that happen for an hour in the afternoon and one hour and forty-five minutes in the evening. After which the hostel amenities include:

Daily After-School Study Group Option

Heldersig Hostel offers a safe, supervised study environment after school, from Monday to Thursday, until 17:00. The hostel serves a nourishing lunch followed by homework and study time.
