Vandag is #WorldEnvironmentDay, en ons vier fees! Die tema vir hierdie jaar is dieselfde as die 1972 Stockholm-konferensie: Slegs Een Aarde. Een manier om 'n meer omgewingsvriendelike lewenswyse te bereik is deur die implementering van bewaringslandbou, 'n ideale stelsel vir volhoubare en klimaat-slim landbou. Overberg Agri se landbou-adviseurs dien op die paneel van Bewaringslandbou Wes-Kaap, ‘n forum waar produsente, navorsers en die bedryf saam werk. Deur aan hierdie forums deel te neem, kan boere ingelig word oor volhoubare landboumetodes, wat die volgende insluit: Verantwoordelike gebruik van landbou-chemikalieë, presisieboerdery, grondbewerkingsmetodes sowel as voordele van organiese insette en holistiese plaasbeplanning. Gekombineer met begroting en finansiële ontledings, sal hierdie metodes volhoubare gewas- en diereproduksie verseker.
