It is that time of year where family, friends, colleagues and old acquaintances get together to spend and celebrate the joy of Christmas. It is also the time to sit still and think of the year that is almost past. What have we achieved as individuals? What have we done for others? There is so much to be grateful for. Let us give thanks to the Almighty.
I want to take this opportunity to wish each and every one whether a resident in the Overstrand or visiting our beautiful seaside areas, a very Merry and Blessed Christmas. May the New Year be filled with dreams that will come true. Don’t make a new year’s resolution that can’t be kept. Do what the heart tells you to do. For all the matriculates, I wish you the best for the future. Remember that “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”. For those that are travelling, have a safe and enjoyable journey and come back safe.
For those that are working during this festive time. Thank you for your dedication and unselfishness. God Bless you all with lots of love.
Cllr Moira Opperman
