Numerous diplomas were awarded to Gansbaai Academia at the yearly National Senior Certificate Awards held at Caledon on Saturday, 11th February 2017.
The principle, Mr Tommy Wilson, proudly received the following awards: School which illustrates commendable achievement in overall performance; Greatest improvement in performance in isiXhosa Home Language in the district.
Academia’s top student for 2016, Analo Yawa, received a special Director’s Award that honours candidates for their commitment and outstanding performance under severe living conditions.
Tommy Wilson said the following: “We have a dedicated team of educators who believes in to see the best in all the learners, and strives for success. We wish all our grade 12 learners all of the best for the coming year”.
