The 2nd round of the Nedbank Cup Qualifying Tournament took place at the Gansbaai fields on 5 August 2017 in Masakhane. Local team Solyx United FC once again showed their skills and came out on top against Iwisa Lovers FC beating them 2-1.
Currently this team under the management of Thembelani Xovula and Jacques van Lill sponsored by Peter Huyser of Solyx Films Sa is looking to be one of the favourites for the winning of the tournament and currently on top of their Group A.
In Group D another local team I&J Express FC is also in great form beating Morning Stars FC 2-1, also leading their Group D and also looking like a strong contender for the finals.

The next round will take place on the 12 August 2017 at the Gansbaai field (Spaces for Sports) and Masakhane starting from 14:00.
