The Fynbos Trail is expanding its operations and looking to employ a full-time nature guide.
The Fynbos Trail has been recognized as a 2020 Travelers’ Choice award-winner. Thank you to all our supporters who made this possible.
According to Tripadvisor, this is based on a full year of reviews, prior to any changes caused by the pandemic. Award winners are known for consistently receiving great traveler feedback, placing them in the top 10% of hospitality businesses around the globe.
This season may look a little different with the South African border still closed but we can’t wait to share our slice of paradise with those who are lucky enough to call South Africa home.

The weekend of 12-14 November 2021 is now available due to a last-minute cancellation.
Christmas holidays are around the corner. The Fynbos Trail closes during this time but then our four beautiful cottages are available for rental.
Total hiking distance for the standard trail is 25 km.
The Cape Floral Kingdom is full of wonders. Late summer to Autumn (February to May) reveals some beautiful specimens. Come hike with us.
