The proposed 2017/18 Draft Budget road show for Overstrand Municipality got underway on Monday, 3 April in all 13 Wards.
During these meetings, residents will be given the opportunity to provide further input and to discuss the budget and allocation of funds that will affect their respective wards with the mayor, councillors and relevant municipal representatives.
The Municipality will also consult and engage with residents on the next 5 year Integrated Development Plan (IDP) cycle for the period 1 July 2017 - 30 June 2022.
Therefore, the Overstrand Municipality is inviting everyone to get involved and give their input into the 2017/2018 Draft Budget and draft IDP.
Residents can peruse copies of the draft budget and draft IDP review at the offices of all area managers, libraries within the municipality, or download it from Overtrand Municipality’s website at www.overstrand.gov.za; click on documents and then on strategic documents.
The closing date for written comments from the public is set for Tuesday, 2 May 2017 at 12:00.
