The new Station Commander for Gansbaai SAPS with effect from the 1st of April 2014 is Lt Col Kholosa Moshi (top). She was the Station Commander at Gordons Bay police station before she was transferred to Gansbaai. “Even after only three weeks in Gansbaai I already feel myself at home,” she said. “I see my appointment as Station Commander as ‘n challenge and I am looking forward in working in partnership with the various communities, as well as organisations in and around Gansbaai.” Lt Col Moshi has 23 years of experience in the police service and is a widow with three children. In her interview with the Gansbaai Courant she said that the police force will never be successful working on their own. “Partnerships with communities and other organisations are of utmost importance,” she said.
