Herberg-aan-See is a non-profit organisation run by BADISA, a faith-based social welfare organisation that provides professional social welfare and development services.

Frail Care Unit 

• Rooms for frail care residents are furnished with hospital beds and the necessary equipment and furniture to assist in daily needs.
• Most frail care rooms are fitted with televisions.

Rooms 

• Single rooms in the home are unfurnished. 
• Residents can furnish and decorate the room to suit their individual needs.

Flats

• Flats are unfurnished. 
• Residents can furnish and decorate the room to suit their individual needs.

Application Requirements

Applicants who wish to apply for residency must be 60 years of age (or older). Should an application be successful the following information must be submitted on original documents supplied by Herberg-aan-See:

• Financial Income and Expenditure Statement
• Medical Health Report (Issued by a Doctor)
• Church Clerical or Welfare Worker Report
   

Fund Raising

The residents and staff at Herberg-aan-See are fully involved in various fundraising incentives throughout the year that include:

• The Herberg-aan-See Bazaar (Pretorius Saal)
• The Christmas Market (Pretorius Saal)
   

Donations

Although Herberg-aan-See is a non-profit organisation run by BADISA the home relies heavily on fundraising initiatives and donations from the public to be fully sustainable. Remember, every donation makes a difference in ensuring the community elders get the professional care they deserve in their golden years.
