About

Komtessa is the brainchild of Kokkie Engelbrecht who first established a trio of Komtessa boutiques in Tygervalley and Goodwood in 1976.

Kokkie launched her Gansbaai branch of Komtessa in 1992 which has, over the years, become a fashion hub for women of all ages.

The popular boutique is often showcased at local fashion and charity events held in-and-around the Overberg.

Furthermore, Kokkie can recommend experienced local seamstresses who have years of dressmaking and alteration experience to take care of any tailoring you need to be done on garments bought ‘off-the-shelf’.
