Walker Bay Gets Ready To Welcome Cruise Ship
.News that the first passenger cruise ship will be anchoring in Walker Bay just off the Hermanus coastline has been met with much anticipation.

Beautiful food, beautiful beer, beautiful views. Honingklip Brewery just outside of Botrivier offers this and lots more. The deliciously curious menu is stocked full of freshly baked, home-made breads, the farm’s signature sausages, cheese and salami platters as well as the restaurant’s own take of the open steak sandwich or burger. Beautifully paired with their very own Belgian-inspired craft beers. The menu changes depending on the season and availability of ingredients and is served on a first come first served basis.
Conveniently located next to the Mini Mark, you can grab a quick bite after stocking up on the essentials. Choose from the easy blackboard menu to enjoy at the restaurant or on-the-go. The simple eatery serves up a selection of old favourites like cheese, chicken and bacon and egg burgers, all served with crispy chips. There is also a selection of great wood-fired pizzas, kebabs, breakfasts and toasted sandwiches.
The taste train has pulled into the station… in the form of The Shuntin’ Shed. This quirky restaurant next to the train tracks of the old Caledon railway line has become one of the popular attractions of the small town. The restaurant and bar with its golden years décor and music serves a selection of breakfasts, wood-fired pizzas, sticky ribs, Sunday roasts and of course, juicy burgers. The vibey eatery also serves up a variety of frothy local beers and musicians which for a great dining experience.
