“Our goal for Trail’s End Bike Hotel is to become a global destination for adventure enthusiasts, and beyond that, a place where local meets world, ideas are shared and solutions are found. As active members of the Grabouw community, we are fully aware of the challenges our town faces, and we are excited that Trail’s End Bike Hotel can play a significant part in uniting the local community through sport as well as providing much-needed jobs as it contributes to building the local tourism industry.”
Trail’s End Bike Hotel is the brainchild of MTB enthusiast Pieter Silberbauer and his business partner Johannes Matthewson. Inspired by bike hotels in Holland and Japan, this new venture was something that the Grabouw community desperately needed. To ensure a world-class experience that both pro and amateur athletes would expect Dr Chad Gordon, a successful trail runner and winner of many triathlons, joined the team.
Trail’s End lies at the heart of some of South Africa’s top mountain biking, running and hiking trails. Routes are conveniently plotted on the GPX App which can be downloaded onto your devices for easy navigation upon arrival.
