Top 4 Things To Consider When Choosing Curtains
Curtains can make a room, but only when chosen correctly.
1. Colour & Fabric
The fabric will dictate how well your curtains will function and last. If the curtains are too heavy, they will not fold crisply when drawn. When they are too light, they may not fall nicely. Too much direct sunlight may fade curtains over time, so it might be smart to avoid very bright colours.

2. Length
Decide on how high you would like your curtains to be. Hanging curtains higher will give a sense of height to the room. Often curtains are hung about 15cm to 20cm above the window, but for a dramatic effect, go higher.
3. Lining
Lining and interlining will help block light out, but also keep the heat in. It will prolong the life of your curtains, and give the curtains body and fullness.

4. Headers
There are many headers to choose from. Your fabric and the style you would like to achieve will determine the header. Pinch Pleats for a more traditional look, or Wave pleats and Eyelets for a contemporary look.
Do not let all the choices overwhelm you, enjoy selecting the correct curtains that suit your home and style, as well as your pocket.
