Living as a Community at Goodwill Mountain Farm
We are now 6 humans, 3 dogs and 2 cats living permanently on Goodwill and it's really starting to feel like a community. The first practice we've implemented as a group is an alien clearing day, starting with the area that we will be reforesting. We all gather in the forest, bring the kids along (furry or otherwise) and pull, cut and mulch together. It bonds us as a community and we get so much done when we're all working in unison. But most importantly, it reminds us that we are here first and foremost to steward the land, to be the caretakers of the wellbeing of the nature that surrounds us. And it's so much fun!
