The Stanford Wine Route winds its way along the region’s sandy dunes, rocky mountain slopes and fertile farmlands where top winemakers produce an ever-growing list of award-winning wines. Close to the southernmost tip of Africa, this is one of South Africa’s coolest wine-producing regions.
The members of Stanford Wine Route strive to offer a unique experience to all those who visit, and each farm on the route prides itself not only in its wine production but in keeping up-to-date with current industry trends. A few of the farms have added crafted beers, infused gins and cheese production to their repertoires. The Stanford Wine Route includes tasting rooms, restaurants, venue hire facilities and accommodation, making it an ultimate viticultural experience.
