The Tasting Room at Stanford Hills uses an authentic farm cottage as a base. There is a spacious covered outdoor seating area with drop-down blinds, fireplaces and gas heaters to ensure that this whole-earth venue offers shelter all year round.
The chef’s daily blackboard specials are sumptuous feasts that incorporate local organic produce wherever possible. Mezze platters are available and complement the much-celebrated Estate wines.

The Picnic Shed is a seasonal hub at Stanford Hills where you can stock up on picnic basket favourites and pizza before you find a spot on the lawn in front of the dam. Perfect for families and well-behaved pets this is the perfect place to unwind in nature.
Please note that to picnic on the estate you must buy your food and drinks from The Picnic Shed.
The Picnic Shed also sells farmstall favourites, basic groceries and necessities as an added convenience for guests staying at the estate accommodation.
“We visited the Tasting Room when we recently stayed at Stanford Hills Estate and we were not disappointed. Although rustic, this added to the ambience of the area. The food was excellent and the local wine was also out of the top drawer. We were served immediately upon arrival and the manageress was in attendance. She gave us her most undivided attention informing us about what’s on the menu and what she could recommend. When our meal came we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was worth the visit.”

“Had a super chilled lunch in an idyllic country setting with a stunning view. Had sundried tomato Aubergine gnocchi which was packed with flavour which is exactly what I was after and hubby had the trio of sliders which was also super tasty and generously sized. The resident dogs took us for a walk past the vineyard afterwards which was a perfect ending to a perfect outing.”
